pay attention always! he talks so fast and you have to write down everything he says because he doesn’t believe in slides w info unless it’s to show pictures from the textbook. there’s also very few assignments and some tests and they all require so much writing. so know the topics for the test (he’ll tell you, so make sure to write that down! ) and memorize the notes and textbook since they both play a huge part in the tests. the tests and final essay (done in class) are honestly one big topic with a bunch of sub topics and you write about all of that.
