Read the books and you’ll be fine for the quizzes. Take a lot of notes which helps a lot when preparing for essays.

take notes, take notes, take notes, he doesn't make you memorize but makes you write about the ideas and you need to know for the exam the ideas he talks about in class. you need to buy 4 books for his class and its closed book for exams so you have to read them all or you'll be lost. the class can be challenging but if you like to read, you'll like the course which was law and society.

Make sure you read everything he assigns because there will be quizzes almost every morning. Also make sure you attend every single class because there will be a lot of notes to take. I recommend to honestly go to his office hours or email him about questions you have, he will warm up to you once you start showing interest in his class. I also recommend to participate in his class. He LOVES that.

Friendly teacher but the course is tough if you miss classes or don’t take a lot of notes.
