every week you will have a reading with questions those make up 30% of your grade 20% is in class activities so 50% of the class is easy grades. the rest is 2 exams which you have notes for and a LIA that is in class with the proposal. Very nice teacher, compassionate and passionate for the content.
- Do the readings and take good notes, you will need to learn how to paraphrase properly as the big exams and the LIA are open-book but in your own words. (Basically demonstrate that you understand the concepts without memorizing word for word. ) - Attend class and notice what is emphasized more than other - Ask for help when you need, the teacher will explain over and over in different manners if needed or ask your peers
passionate teacher and easy going grader, but if you struggle with writing you may struggle in his class
I took their intro to anthropology class. It was a very easy class to pass in my opinion. There was no actual exams, just open book quizzes. No need to memorize anything, but keep in mind that you will have quite a few essays to write! The teacher has an extension policy though, so it's all good.
