This man is a sweet heart and if you work hard it is rewarded. I took him for Calc 1 & 2. The subject is challenging regardless of the prof but his weekly homework make you think and understand the topics! He is understanding with deadlines and is very organized with his material. its all posted online.

I took statistics with him and it was the best course I took in my college curriculum. The teacher lets you know at the beginning of the semester every assignment that is due, he posts all the lectures on his website and gives you all exams from the previous years. You will have one homework assignment per week, and the grading is very fair. The exams are the same as the assignments so do not Chegg all of them, you will fail. He allows memory sheets for the exams so you have no memorization to do for this class. The teacher is very fair and helpful, and he is very passionate about the material he teaches. I really recommend the course if you need a science option. As long as you show up to class and do your homework, this class is an easy pass.

For my semester with him in Calc 1, the weekly exercises he gave (the clex) we're really hard and took a long time to do but were barely worth anything (1% each). The midterm was difficult, and the final was impossible to do. It was open book/open internet though, but even then it was hard. I don't know how he is like as an in-person teacher, but my online experience with him was really bad, I had to do all the learning by myself. If possible, do not take his class and pick another teacher for Calc 1.

You need to stay up to date with lecture notes posted (since it is online he posts lecture notes where you have to basically teach yourself). He does not teach the material but does a bunch of examples during his lectures

There are almost weekly Class exercise assignments. They are small but make you think about the topic- personally I found them helpful to understand the theroy thoroughly. Also there r webworks but he is very flexible with the deadlines and so sweet :) The class average wasn't great but personally I did well in his class. His notes are very helpful for the exams. Practice them and do some textbook Qs and u'll be good for the exams. I took him for cal 1 and 2
