You're going to have to memorize the formulas for tests, but they will be given on the final, at least in my experience. Remember to practice the problems he gives, they are most likely on his tests.

I had him for mechanics. His explanations of the material aren’t too clear but he goes over many exercises in class, which is very helpful. His tests are quite short and he gives more than enough time to complete them (about 3 hours for 4-5 questions). The tests are very similar to the problems that he assigns from the study guide as well as the sample tests that he provides on Omnivox, so make sure to do them. He ‘s extremely generous and quick with his corrections. The labs are easy since he goes over the experimental procedure at the beginning of lab periods and he mentions what to include in lab reports. Compared to other mechanics teachers, he barely gives any homework and there are no WebWorks. He also gives easy opportunities to get bonus points. Sometimes, he ends class 45 mins - 1 hour early in order to dedicate the remaining time to answering students’ questions. He’s very sweet and if I had the chance to take him again, I would.

had him for mechanics. He does explain well and does complete example on the board. The labs are pretty easy. For the tests, really start studying early or youll be swamped. Bear in mind, if theres an exercise that quite difiicult, it most probably is in the test. I will say that he does prepare you for the final.

I took him for Mechanics. He's a pretty chill teacher. I will admit, I almost failed this class but that was only because I wasn't doing my homework. The second you learn something go home and the practice. Don't even think about procrastinating... it will catch up. His tests are pretty simple. They had around 4-5 problems which I was given 2 hours to complete. He is always there for help if you need him and he's super nice. His labs aren't hard to do badly on and he rarely gives quizzes. But one thing about him is that his quizzes are usually a surprise.

He was one of the most considerate teachers I had. He loves to interact with his students and always helped me with the work I was having trouble with, don't be scared to ask any questions you have. He may seem harsh at the beginning but in reality he's extremely nice. Don't be afraid to email him, he always answers. He once answered my email at 1am. Have fun and good luck with mechanics!
