If you have the time to do the extra practice homework from the beginning of the semester I would highly recommend doing so. He gave bonus marks to those who completed questions on the board (one point for multiple questions), that being said, he frequently chose the same people who volunteered at the beginning of the semester, so if you want those extra marks, do so from the very beginning. Also make sure to understand theory that he tells you to look into at home cause he will quiz and test you on it.
In order to do really well in this class, you need to be outgoing. In other words, each time there is a problem or exercise on the board, try to volunteer to complete upfront. Just pay attention to what he says in class, especially for the theory questions. I had him for 3 consecutive semesters in all 3 physics class and I truly enjoyed my experience with him. -from a MedP student.
