She was the best teacher I had. I took her for Intro to College English. Just make sure you do the readings and you'll do great. She does review everything and explains everything very simply and nicely

Wonderful. 100% recommend
Class of 2022
It is very easy to do well in this class, since half of your mark is all mini easy assignments. Also, I find she's an easy grader. As long as you do what she says for the mini assignments, you'll get 100. She's also such a sweetheart and is sooo kind and helpful to her students. She speaks to us like she is our friend and less like a teacher.

I has her for English 103 Communication breakdown course, with focus on Jazz music. Erin is extremely sweet and I definitely recommend you to take her. She's a very easy grader and very understanding towards her students, very much like a friend. Work: Most of the work is to be done in class except for the Final essay. We had lots of class discussions, group activities, in class individual assignments, etc. There were also quizzes on the novel we read which i will explain in greater detail. The class discussions were extremely helpful for the essays so i recommend that you take notes. We also watched some great movies and read some shorter works. There was also a oral presentation which i will also explain. Book: The only thing we had to do outside of class was to read the book. She scheduled it very nicely and I myself could get it done on the bus. There were short answer quizzes on these pages that were to be read. So I definitely recommend that you do the readings. Oral presentation: There is nothing to be worried about. Powerpoint was not obligatory. She divided us into smaller groups and we had to only show up for our own group. The presentation was more like a round-table discussion and you would be assigned to make comments on someone else's presentation as well. The topic was on character of the book and it was randomly assigned about more than a week before the presentation date. Technology: She does not particularly enjoy electronics. No phones are allowed in class and you must turn everything in hand-written. Overall: I had the best time in this class. Erin is very understating and if you ever need extensions just let her know in advance. For the final essay there are workshops and attending them would grant you a chance for getting an extension. Since most of the work is done in class, you won't have much to do outside of reading. Just make sure to attend the classes. I recommend a 100%.
