Intro to College English was an okay class overall, but be prepared for a lot of reading and writing. Every single class comes with a new assignment, and you only get class time to complete it—there’s no extra time, so you have to stay focused and work fast. Each of these assignments is only worth around 3%, so while they don’t carry much weight individually, they do add up. On top of that, there are two big essays during the semester that take more time and effort. If you enjoy writing and can handle the constant workload, it’s manageable, but don’t expect much breathing room.

Lots of little short presentations in the “writing as activism “class, but overall great teacher, very understanding, and a very fun class. I didn’t like presenting but got way more comfortable with it by the end of the semsester.
