He's a really great teacher. I took him for Psychoanalysis and the Limits of Knowledge. He knows what he's talking about and is incredibly knowledgeable about the topic he's teaching. He doesn't allow technology at all in class but it's okay because he let's us copy his slides down on paper. A lot of the assignments were done in groups of 2-3 and it consisted of 3-4 short answer questions that would only take up about 30 minutes of the class. He was a pretty easy grader if you answered the questions somewhat correctly but for the essays, you had to be careful about your wording, because obviously, I took a knowledge course. Therefore, I had to be knowledgeable about the topic. Anyways, he's really passionate about what he teaches and sometimes can bring up some pretty interesting discussions. His class helps us realize various aspects of our mind that we may not have understood otherwise. I think it was a pretty cool course. I recommend it if you are interested in learning about society and the individual.
His online class teaching was very independent. He would only take 30 mins more or less out of the 3 hours of a humanities class, and sometimes we wouldn't even need to meet. He keeps you up to date with what you need to do through announcements and emails so you are on task. Very responsive to emails and gives good feedback. He may seem scary at first, but he is a great teacher and he loves what he does. I strongly recommend you take his class, especially if you have strong writing skills!
very knowledgeable teacher, shows that he loves what he is doing and could be seen by the way he teachers, very helpful and also his class "progress and discontents" is very interesting class. Highly suggest to take him
Took his psychoanalysis class; very interesting and simple if you listen and write down the notes on the board. He makes the class very interesting and is very knowledgeable on the subject.
