Make sure to use proper MLA format for your portfolio assignments. Make sure to print out any material you want to bring with you for the in class analysis assignments as she will not let us use any electronic devices during class time.
Class of 2020
Final essays count for 30% of your overall grade. She gives several mini assignments throughout the semester that count for very small percentages. Very strict on MLA. Make sure to properly cite all your sources.

do the mini assignments. pay attention because you can get called on. do the readings and know your book inside and out for the essays.

always attend her classes cuz she’s a bit strict and be organize since she gives a lot of mini-assignments

She takes her time to ensure students are clear with what they need to do. She is also open for questions if students need help

overall experience: she’s super kind but strict with deadlines and absences. she gives a lot of activities and mini-assignments but they’re for boosting up your grades. moreover, she’s not a hard-grader (as long as your present and doing your work correctly). she’s super open for feedbacks and help if you’re having a hard time with your essays or schedule. definitely recommend!
