Even if you do poorly on the first exam, there are many in-class readings with questions and reflections to help boost your grade back up. Make sure you are a decent essay writer, and it will help a lot with this class. Pay attention to oral presentations and take notes on them because they can appear on the test. Most importantly, pay attention and take notes, you need to have an understanding of the material in order to write the exam essays.

She will write general notes on the board but I suggest also writing facts that she simply says. She shows a lot of videos. TAKE NOTES ON THE ORALS. This will make you or break you, throughout the semester, students will do orals and that info is on the test. The group work is easy and can increase your mark. The essay was easy, basically an opinion piece. She only gives two tests, a midterm and a final so you really need to study for those. But the class is actually not hard, there's basically no homework.
