I had Carla for intro to psych, she's very kind and straightforward. I don't recommend skipping her class as her lectures are detailed, be sure to listen and jot down notes that aren't in her slides presentations (she'll give out test questions during lectures... ) Carla posts all her notes online. If you need help, go to her office hours with questions prepared. If you follow the checklist for an essay you're pretty much guaranteed 100%. She gives many opportunities to increase your grade. To study for her tests, give yourself about a week and study a bit every day, making and studying flashcards worked best for me. With Carla you'll have interesting lectures and a good experience :)

the class is so chill and all you have to do is listen. if you do that and memorize her notes a week in advance before the test, you’re 100% gonna do great

Super sweet teacher, always came in to class smiling, explained the material very well and was always there for any questions we had before/after class. I'm happy I got to have her as my first intro to psych teacher
