I had him for Qualitative Methods. It’s an easy class to pass but it’s SUPER boring, you will learn different research methods and how to collect qualitative data. The teacher himself is pretty nice and does his best to make the class entertaining, he’s super chill and friendly so if you have any questions he’ll help you out. There aren’t many tests because you mainly work on one big project that is due at the end of the semester. Choose a topic that you find interesting!!! You’ll work on it for 4 months so choose something that won’t bore you. We did around 6 labs total and they were super easy, all you have to do is pay attention in class. Also, make sure to read his slides because they are very helpful, he posts everything on Omnivox. He does get distracted easily so don’t talk too much in class, trust, it’ll piss him off. I would rate the class a 5/10 but the teacher made it a 7/10.

The class is easy to pass and the subject and honestly really boring. Every slides presentation is posted, but the exams and the assignments are not based on them. All the assignements are group work so it is better to find people you can really work well with since it is a team grade each time. Overall, the class was acceptable only due to the teacher, who was great. It is a course on how to be a good student; you learn how to properly outline an essay, how to effectively study for your exams, how to take notes, etc.

The teacher is really nice, open-minded and he likes to talk to his students by having engaging discussion classes. He made a great effort to make the class interesting and he is always open for feedbacks. His level of understanding is great since it was his first time teaching at Vanier College if I remember well. Great teacher overall.
