If you ask her for help during your outlines and the writing of your essays, you will do really well in this class. She allows a lot of people to continue their work after class, where they can work in her office or at a different class that she has somewhat reserved. Most people don't do well either because they don't ask for help, either they misunderstood the play(s) or they wrote something that doesn't align with the teacher's interpretation. Make sure to read the plays and prepare for the quizzes, even if they're fairly simple.

If you take Crime & Prejudice, the material is very interesting if you like that stuff (I do). However, her classes are extremely lecture based. She rarely asks students questions, which leads to a very boring and non-participative class.
Class of 2022
Quizzes every class, so a lot of reading to do. Weekly readings. Short essays due every 1/3 of the semester. Make sure you are keeping track of the lectures and readings, quizzes are worth around 2% each.
Class of 2021
Requires a lot of writing and reading, you will have an essay due or quiz every week. You will also have ‘short’ stories to read every week which are longer than expected. Be prepared to work a lot

The teacher is always there To help you if you need help. She wants our success and she cares about Her students. I recommend her as an english teacher especially if you want a caring and compassionate teacher. (She gives you extension if you need one without penelazing you)

Amazing teacher. She's very passionate about what she teaches. Make sure you ask for help if you need, she's always there for you and will help you with your essays and such. Don't miss class because there's weekly quizzes every class, that includes reading the short stories. Make sure you take notes during class as well, she usually gives out key points and main arguments for the essays. Free bonus points as well!

I really liked this teacher. She has many office hours if you need help!

She can be really nice, specially with extensions, but she can be strict if people disturb class. I personally think that she Is not an easy grader.
