One of the best cal teachers i've had; i took her for cal 2 and did very well. She teaches well, and her tests and exams are SUPER fair. She prepares students very well for evaluations with webworks, worksheets, and notes examples. She is a teacher that wants her students to excel and understand.

i had her for cal 2 and she was THE BEST. she explains the material very well but you always need to take notes since she doesn't post any slides. she gives webworks every week and they're worth 15% of your grade which is very generous. her exams are very similar to the webworks and quite easy if you understand the basics. she's also not a harsh grader at all so she tries to give you a good grade even if you made mistakes. definitely would recommend her!!

Go to class and write notes. Tests are easy. Very clear notes and she tries to help you understand.

One of the rare good math teacher at VC. She explains very well, she makes sure everyone understands before going forward with the material. She does not just jump into material without, doing a little review/recall. She is not the kind of teacher that just takes into consideration that you know something. VERY kind woman, fair grader, in exams she does not cut full marks if you have just made a little mistake of inattention, she tries to correct in your advantage.

I had her for Cal 1. Her method of teaching this course was truly my favorite. She teaches by solving problems in class and letting students try tons of them in class to ensure that everyone understands the concept. She would not copy down the entire textbook on the word. You would get out of the class knowing exactly what you should have. There were group works and webworks which were essentially free marks. There were some quizzes as well. The quizzes entirely represent the webworks and her examples that she gives in class. She's not a tough grader either. If you are someone who struggles with math, definitely take her, because she tries her best to put concepts in a way that in comprehensible for everyone. The class average in usually high in all of her classes. The teacher is extremely sweet and understanding and I recommend taking her a 100%.
