-always bring notebooks to take notes -highlighters is very useful

i had her for British Imagination and i liked her! she's specific in her teaching, which can rub some students the wrong way, but ultimately she's very nice if she sees you're putting in the effort.. she assigns a lot of reading however, so if you have time, i really recommend reading ahead because it can get a bit intense

Be on top of your reading and be prepared, understand what your reading and participate. READ THE DOCUMENTS ON THE ESSAY STRUCTURE. She does not go over them in class and expects everyone to know theses things like its the standard way of writing but its really not
