His exams are quite hard and he does not provide supplemental practice questions for his exam (you can just study your in-class notes). He does not talk loudly so you need to seat near the board to be able to hear. Sometimes he skips steps in his explanation :((( you need to have a good and solid base of math/ logic to understand him. Overall, my grade was not the best with him ( I got 90 for CAL 1 with another teacher last year and now my current grade with him is in the 70s ).
Grammar mistakes count in essays You can skip as many classes as you want but sometimes will miss important instructions for your essays and also lose some points for your 5% participation marks
Taking good notes is key in General Biology I and Human Physiology! I found that colour coordinating the way that Professor Saumier does on the board really helped me study and was easier to look at.
