* Take good notes from his PowerPoint despite the fact that he will put them online. * Ask questions immediately if things become unclear, don't waste for the last moment!! * Make sure to practice, practice and practice. Exams questions are similar to the one in the textbook.

Mr. Cohalan is a really nice teacher and speak both french and english (in case you are like me who just came from a French High School). If you see him in your course choice, take him! He is helpful and not super serious (even make some jokes in class). Sometimes, I do find his explanations a bit unclear, but it is not his fault, just make sure to re-read the class materials and prepare your questions in advance before go see him. Other than that, you will really have a great semester with him and a super good grade if you, as Cohalan always said: Practice, practice, and practice!!!
