Calculus I has a lot of new theory and a lot of memorizing, with no cheat sheets. So the most important thing to do in order to thrive is practice. Practice exams, exercises, theory, everything. Very very useful!
You should really refer to other material. The notes are very bad and quite confusing, to be honest. The textbook and the internet helped me more. Get a tutor if you need a bit of help. Cal 2 is already hard, put every chance on your side by making sure you understand the material.
