Go outside the lessons to gain an intuition for Linear algebra, besides just memorizing the class notes and theorems.
Just stay on top of your assignments and don't be afraid to ask for help and you'll be fine
Go over the slides and focus on the material that is given. It will not be challenging classes as long as you understand the material. There are usually weekly questions, and can be easy grades as long as you continue to do them and pay attention in class. Even if you don't if you reread the lecture slides it'll be fine.
Be ready to use youtube and learn online on your own, in class material is borderline useless
Be sure to listen carefully... be attentive. If pay close enough attention you'll see what it's all about.. 10/10would retake
