do the readings if you can, you will sometimes be quizzed on them. a brief overview or understanding in the least. show up to class in time, ask him about something if you didn't quite catch it, take as many notes as you can (these are essentially what you will be studying) tests are usually essay formatted.

Take down notes, use his books and you're all set. Come in on time, pay attention and that's basically it, guarantee 80 or 90.
Class of 2022
As long as you show up and take a lot of notes during his class, it's an easy pass. Overall, a very chill teacher and a fair grader.

Class of 2023
He is a loud, funny teacher when he does his lectures. He would always mention his cat and his young daughter. Overall, if you pay attention and take notes, you will succeed in his class. I have taken States of Nature and it covers interesting topics such as Piraha people, living in life without government and police.
