My course (Literary Genres) was about postcolonial literature, I would say it was a fairly interesting subject (not hard to understand and easy to discuss). Robert is a nice guy and a nice teacher, one thing I liked about him is that even though he was "chill" with students, he was not letting students annoyingly disturb other students by talking (too much) in class. There are just two or three essays which are not too hard, you basically answer a general question (kind of your opinion) about the book you read by using quotes and your point of view. He sometimes gives little quizzes about short stories/essays he gives us to read, just read them once or twice and remember important characters and some dates (rarely) and you'll easily pass.

Rob J Rose is an extremely fair teacher! As long as you do the readings, you will get 90-100 on the quizzes guaranteed. Great guy.
