-As long as you pay attention in-class and take notes, you will pass easily! -Make sure to do the readings to keep track in-class. -There are no home assignments (aside from your presentation), everything is in-class.

Stay on track of what you learn, study, and you'll do extremely well in his class. Great teacher, and takes his time to answer your question. Also explains really well.
Class of 2020
This teacher is very organized, and his courses are structured so that there is an "assignment" every 4th class. There is also one big essay, but you get a bunch of time to do it. The most important thing for this class is that when he lectures, he writes on the board. THESE ARE THE NOTES YOU TAKE. His lectures mostly go over the readings, so if you do those before coming to class, you will understand 100% better.

Class of 2025
John Hunting was a very fun teacher to have and I will easily say that he was one of the bests I've ever had for a gen-ed. He is very passionate about his subjects, and even incorporates personal anecdotes which makes it all the more relatable, understandable, and memorable. I'm not a studious person by any means, but he teaches the subject in such a manner that the information gets easily retained (so just make sure to pay attention and don't miss any classes). Once I had difficulties understanding a subject, and came up to him after class. He was more than happy to take an extra 30mins just to talk it out and make sure I understood everything, definitely one of the most approachable teachers ever! I even asked for some reviews on my presentation subjects via Mio, and he replied with big in-depth paragraphs which made me think more about the subject. Overall, an amazingly passionate, friendly, and helpful teacher :)
Class of 2020
I took two of this teacher's classes. The first one was Art, Film, and Media Witnessing and the second was Society and the Other. Both were some of my favorite classes in college. I will miss having John as a teacher.
