Yoga retreat. Do the assignments and the fitness appraisal in class. He is a very easy grader as long as you put in effort he gives a good grade. VERY FUN CLASS. the yoga retreat itself was filled with back pain from sitting on the floor for 3 days and bad food if you're a picky eater but Joey makes it fun. Best teacher tho I mean it
Had Joey for an Urban Wilderness intensive. The Moodle assignments were really straight forward if you read the pdfs attached to them. He’s a really funny teacher and honestly made the class so much more enjoyable. Would recommend him for any phys-ed class!
Had him for Home Fitness Workouts at Vanier (online), great teacher, is very clam and zen (he's a yoga instructor), do the work and you'll do great, he let us finish most of the Moodle questions in class and in teams so theres no exuse to fail his class. 10/10 recommend taking his class.
I took his 103 yoga class at Vanier, Joey is an amazing teacher I promise you'll have a good time in his class. Always full of energy and is the type of person who makes people feel better by just being in the same room as him. He purposefully made graded material be finished many weeks before the end of the semester so that we could focus our time outside of school on other classes. His classes were structured in a way that helped students reduce stress levels and just have a great time. I would recommend that everyone takes his class.
I had Joey for 101 physical education at Vanier College for Acro Yoga. He is a delight as a teacher, often making us laugh in class and someone we could talk to. He did assign more homework than I've done for any other phys. ed. class. We had quizzes every week and sometimes they were long; however, they were based on lectures he's pre-recorded and uploaded online. I recommend Joey for any class in physical education.
