This teacher's Integrative Seminar is extremely hard. I have won awards for my writing and I failed the class. The reason often given for this failure was a lack of writing skills. I even remember telling someone that one of the papers I had written was the best essay I had written - I barely got a passing mark. The office hours are also inconsistent. I once set up a meeting with the teacher and he did not show up. We were told repeatedly by the teacher that no one had ever gotten higher than 85% in the class. As a student who tries until there is no other option but failure I whole-heartedly say to stay away from this class.

Class of 2021
No matter what I did in this class I was unable to get a passing mark. I remember agonizing over the essays. I think a teacher's goal should be to encourage their students to learn. Part of that is being happy when they get high marks. This teacher's expectations were set very high. It was seen as a feat if you, as a student, passed an assignment. That mindset simply does not seem right in an institution of education.

Bad experience. His class was basically just watching his hour long recorded video and then we assist an hour long class where he answers the questions. You can learn all the material by yourself and without attending his class, but participation is 10% and he randomly names people to answer his question.
