Do as many practice problems as you can and make sure not to fall behind in your comprehension of what you are learning because it will be hard to catch up. Make sure you understand the examples he does in class because they were sometimes in the progress exams. Getting a tutor to help you with this is a good idea because he often doesn’t finish explanations in class or doesn’t go very in depth in the problems. The tests were often very hard despite studying a lot so doing well on the reading assignments and labs can help save your semester.

Awful class, switch as soon as possible if you are in it. His tests are super hard and he doesn't believe in part marks. The class average was basically 30%. He will not teach you what you need, you basically need to teach yourself. And he will grade those he likes better than those he doesn't. If you approach him abut his unfair grading or ask a stupid question he will treat you unfairly.
