Take your own notes of the things on the slides, even if they're just online. Just write a little summary of each section/topic and you'll save yourself a lot of annoyance trying to figure out the slides when studying for tests. Doesn't have to be long, just 1 or 2 sentences and you're good.
Class of 2021
If you have language issues know that he will speak in french to you if you need it. For the class Methods II go to every lab and try to finish the lab perfectly. If you get it perfect in the labs then the research paper is much easier at the end of the year. The research paper is basically a sum of all the labs. For tests try and study from the slides (even though they aren't the best).
