Try your best to get filler marks, try-hard on kahoots and do your study sheet for basically 3-5 free marks on the unit tests. The assignments are a pain, make sure you have a friend in your class that will work with you otherwise its like 3 hours of work by yourself. The quiz's are pretty light, all of the quiz's are multiple choice. If there's a problem with due dates, just ask; he will likely give an extension. DO THE PRACTICE TEST, they're are 1-1 copy (format wise at least) to the test, and some of the questions on them are on the test.

His quizzes usually have random questions that you were never taught about in class. Try to research further into subjects taught in class.

insane amount of homework, if you don't understand the information during the lesson you are kind of screwed

There is a simple way to succeed in this class. Practice, practice, practice. If you're stuck, use lunch breaks or time in the morning to ask questions. Stay attentive throughout classes so that you can actively recall the content while practicing homework. This was my favourite class I took at Bluevale-- good luck!

One of the most generous teachers. He makes chemistry seem easier than it should and it really is.

He makes lessons fun, but at times he's a tough grader. The assignments are sometimes too much work but at least he gives us around 2 classes, so it's easily finishable at home.

Great teacher and presenter, terribly organized, terrible at making tests, and terrible at getting the useful content across.

I had Mr. Arthur for grade 10 science last year and have him for grade 12 AP chemistry this year and he is a really good teacher. I was shocked in grade ten when I found myself studying science for so long after school but realized it was because Mr. Arthur made it exciting to learn science! He teaches in a way that he genuinely wants you to do well and there’s a reason why a lot of student think he’s an amazing teacher!

The tests and quizzes are hard, a lot of trick questions.
