Try your best to get filler marks, try-hard on kahoots and do your study sheet for basically 3-5 free marks on the unit tests. The assignments are a pain, make sure you have a friend in your class that will work with you otherwise its like 3 hours of work by yourself. The quiz's are pretty light, all of the quiz's are multiple choice. If there's a problem with due dates, just ask; he will likely give an extension. DO THE PRACTICE TEST, they're are 1-1 copy (format wise at least) to the test, and some of the questions on them are on the test.

You don't need to memorize most formulas as he will give them to you. He explains Physics like a science and not a math, so it really helps you understand. He's also chill, ask him questions and he'll answer. He also has sick ties. He will also always help you. If available at lunch, before class, after class, he's always helping. Very nice teacher and a good one as well. Our class was doing really bad with times (our quiz took the entire class) so he decided to change the entire structure of the class (in a good way), so not only did we do more problems, we also had time to ask about the practice problems, while the lessons became HW, which you can just 2x speed and write the notes. Make sure you do concept checks, they show if you understand it or not, if you don't make sure to rewatch the lesson or ask to understand it ASAP, because a lot of the early lessons are huge building blocks and late lessons (in a unit) are on tests.

If you attend class regularly and do all of the homework and practice tests, you will be successful.

Don't take the 2-3 week projects as "I can do it in a few days" The coding is very difficult to solve if you get it wrong! But he is always there to help solve the problem unless it is very complicated. For paper tests make sure to memorize all the ways of coding and for the assignments make sure to get them done a few days before the due date so you have time to fix problems. Best of luck in this cource (2025 review)

Be prepared, be attentive and do not be afraid to ask questions. It will be so much better if you are engaged and actively participating.

She is nice as a person but awful as a teacher. She tends to give textbook work to learn/ understand a lesson then will proceed to not teach it or take it up. She is also often away whenever you need help on an assignment or the day before the test. She also is not willing to give extra help during lunch or after school, along with when asking a question not knowing the answer. She likes to give work out and not teach it because "she is busy doing other stuff"...

When you're stuck, genuinely just ask. She is one of the only teachers in the school that will help you when you ask a question on a test. For example, if you forgot if you must indent a credit transaction or not, ask and she will give you a real answer. If you don't understand something, she will always help.

Marks too harshly. Make sure to fill out all the worksheets he gives you in class, as you'll be able ot use them as notes during tests. Make connections to different stories you've read.
