Do all your homework for each note in each unit as soon as you get it, do the practice tests and review questions!!

She is not afraid to say what’s on her mind which takes getting used to but when you do, she is great. Unbiased with her marking and she doesn’t target people and label the, as “troublemaker” or the “smart student“

In her ICS course, the instructions and requirements of the assignments are almost always vague and need clarification. For assignments, you get a piece of paper outlining what needs to happen with the program you make. But the problem is most of the time the way it's supposed to be done is completely up in the air until you get a marked rubric back saying you got, for example, a 60/100 for a program that does what it's supposed to but doesn't do it the way she wants. This could be completely avoided if the class were to get what we are being marked on (the rubric) and not have to dissect the vague assignment sheet constantly for hints of what you are being marked on with the code. The class isn't hard at all to understand (since Mrs. Barlow is great at teaching) but the hard thing to understand is what she wants to she from each program because there isn't a clear and understandable outlining of what is to be expected. I would definitely, 100 percent be going into next year's ICS class because I love coding but just because I cant get a clear understanding of what specifically is being marked on each assignment I cant since my mark wouldn't be as good as I want to be (or what I would expect it to be) :(
