IB Gr 12 English - Practice timed-writing at home as in-class essays make up the bulk of your grade and pay attention during class discussions related to specific moments/chapters of the text you are studying and will be assessed on (I did none of these things btw so don't be like me lol)

So I had him for grade 10 French and let’s say it’s an experience. Make such you are confident in your ability to speak and understand French or you will struggle like I did. You’ll need to require a good ear for French when he is teaching this class and make sense of everything.

Keep up with the homework, spend every lunch period in his classroom going over questions you had, he will answer them. If you really need a higher mark on a test (especially for grade 12), don't be afraid to ask, he often lets students retake

ms ferry is very big on terms and definitions, so after she introduces a new concept go home and review what you learned until you got it down pat. she calls most quizzes "pop quizzes" but she'll let you know when they're coming almost to the exact day (within a 2-3 day range). she doesn't weigh assignments and culminatings correctly on the brightspace - for example, a term-work project and the culminating mock trial are weighed the exact same even though the mock trial should be 15%. she is also very very big on class participation so raise your hand in class at least once every day, even if you don't know the answers exactly she still appreciates educated guess.

It's very easy to get distracted in Ms G's psych class so make sure you manage your studying well outside of class. The discussion-heavy style that Ms G has with teaching makes her class entertaining and fun. As everything comes down to how to format a response properly, make sure you ask Ms G everything you need to know about how to specific SAQs and ERQs (she's more than happy to help)

I had my business class with him. He is a very caring person and treats everyone soooo niceeee. Don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions in or after class or need anything, he will try his best to help you feel comfortable with the class and I think his class is the relaxing one for me lol.

So I had him in grade 9 gym and let’s say it was an interesting experience. He is a fair marker but a con for me was him grouping everyone into separate teams instead of having a competitive and a non-competitive side which would have lessen the emotional duress I endure from certain people.

For chemistry, the notes that you copy from Mr Wendler are good but it would be best to add to your notes directly from the textbook he hands out to better your understanding of material and improve preparation for tests/quizzes. Mr Wendler is pretty good at answering questions (in class at least), all you have to do is just ask him
