its best to study everything on the slides instead of just the study guide she gives, unless its for the exam review that you can trust. Know in detail about everything you can't just know a breif summary.

I had the greatest time in her class than I did all semester. The class is fun, as well as informative. The course could be quite hard, but she will help you if you have any problems. If you have her for grade 10 pre-ib, like I did, you have have three major courses: chemistry, biology, and physics. Chemistry is not that hard, it requires good memorization of the formulas. Ms. Watt would allow you to use the periodic table during tests, so you do not have to memorize the table. You will, however, have to memorize the other things like naming compounds. Biology is the unit which many people consider the hardest, although I felt like I did the best on this unit. Biology is heavily memorization oriented, almost individual thing must be memorized. For example, for a cell, you have to memorize all the parts of the cell, as well as how they work together to make the cell work. However, in my opinion, biology is the most interesting course, and I found it enjoyable. Physics is kind of in between. Judging from your view, it could be quite interesting, or it could be quite dull. There are formulas you must memorize, and a lot of them are math based. Persoanlly, I did not find physics very fun, but it was easier than chemistry. You will also be given chances to work with your peers and get to know one another, something I appreciated greatly as it helped me come out of my shell and become a fun and outgoing person. She will allow you to select your own partners, but if you cannot find one, she will pair you guys up. She will give you guys plenty of time to do your projects, so do not stress if she gives you a project which appears difficult. As long as you manage your time correctly, you will be fine.

In grade 9 science I had her and I thought she was a really nice marker, but I heard other classmates say she was a really difficult marker. Then I had her in bio 11 and she had way higher expectations in the higher grades and her marking became really hard (she'd take off lots of marks for not using the correct words). She's a really nice teacher and very realistic and you can talk to her about anythign and she'll understand

Ms. Watt is my favorite teacher, and as long as you pay attention and are respectable, you will have a great time in her class and make plenty of friends. Good luck, and have fun!
