All material is posted online, so you don't have to worry about missing any information. Honestly, just attend the class and you'll do fine. If you're not good at writing(like me), this is where you'll actually learn how to write properly.

Ms. Laviolette, as stated previously, may be the most unprofessional teacher I have ever had. She doesn't seem to take her job seriously. Rather, she curses at students, mocks them, brings up personal issues they may have spoken to her about, and just acts in a manner that you would not expect from a high school teacher, much less a department head. I can say from firsthand experience as someone who once enjoyed English that, after being in her class, I found that I began to detest the subject. I would urge any student assigned to her class to transfer as soon as possible. While you may hear stories about her marking being generous, trust me, it is not worth the psychological abuse you will go through having her as a teacher.
