I was in her Grade 9 Academic class, and she always posts everything you need to study. It's easiest to use Quizlet and have it generate flashcards quickly. You'll probably have homework every day, and Madame Cappelli tends to make the due date before 11:59 PM. Other than casual studying, her course is relaxed for people who did well in elementary French.

I was in her Grade 9 Academic class and ended with a 90. Please note that the Grade 9 curriculum is meant to be easier than her higher-grade/IB class, which is definitely far more difficult. However, she is a very passionate French teacher who is great for students who want to pursue French beyond Grade 9. I would not recommend going to her for grade adjustments beyond your added-up total being incorrect. Try to pay attention and participate in class (also don't go on your phone). You'll find she is a very bubbly and energetic teacher.

Pay close attention, and be respectful. Do not go into the semester with a high expectation for this class, even if you are very fluent in French, because those expectations will certainly not be met. Good luck, you're going to need it. I would love to say have fun like I do with almost every other teacher but I do not believe any fun will be had in her class.
