Be prepared for thorough examinations of the textbooks and preparing ahead. Take note of what he says and that'll be on the test. Never pull out any electronics of any kind

Very often he gets off topic for spans of whole classes and does not teach. Course material felt unstructured and random, he did not teach very much and mostly expected us to figure things out on our own. Would randomly bring up personal opinions on social issues such as denying climate change or political issues, offered a large amount of unsolicited advice on our futures such as "you wont find a job that makes you happy, you should have a good traditional marriage" (seemed mildly homophobic, and also said that there were women jobs and men jobs and that for the most part thats just how it is intrinsically). Seemed like he wanted to teach a philosophy or pol-sci class but most likely was not allowed to due to his constant attempts to impress his opinions on others and general rudeness to students. made a racial remark to a student, and singled out the female students in the class for quote "being in a male subject field". Generally difficult to learn from and in my opinion seems like being a teacher is more of a power trip for him then a chance to share actual knowledge on the subject at hand. would not reccomend, made me hate one of my favorite subjects in school for a year.
