Robert Burgess

He does notes on the whiteboard and gives out handouts sparingly, just make sure to pay attention and you'll do great! I'm averaging 94% (SBI3U) and take an hour at most of studying per test, so as long as you have passion and enthusiasm for the subject, there's not much memorising you'll need to do. He values general understanding over minute details like spelling and latin terminology, so you don't need to worry in that department, and he is a fair grader.

Memorize as many of the notes you are given as possible, they are extremely helpful for the end of the course, you will be told which notes are important and which are not so don't stress too much about memorizing everything. A lot of the material looks a bit overwhelming and complicated at first but it isn't when you understand it more, you will always be informed about deadlines and dates for important things in class like tests or work periods etc. Very laid back class.

Robert Burgess classes were very engaging and fun. This teacher is just awesome, teaches in clarity and always helps students to do their best. No pressure given during his class. Robert Burgess is very passionate about teaching his field. Wishing there more teachers like him in this high school then it would have been perfect. Plus his outfits are always so stylish. Mr. Burgess teaches in style.

He teaches senior biology and environmental sciences courses at the university courses, so much like other sciences memorization is essential in order to do well in the course Make in depth cards with key terms/ questions/ people for each unit!
