AP Advanced Functions and Calculus This course is quite fast-paced and consists mainly of high-achieving students. There is lots of homework, but classes are structured to allow students around 20-30 minutes to start their homework. I would say the typical homework lasts between 30 minutes and an hour. In regards to the content of the course, the math curriculum is highly faulted in the Ontario education system as prior grades do not prepare one for grade 12 math courses. This is especially true for new concepts such as calculus. If you want to do well in this course, it is best to complete the homework and self-study the content as with increased class sizes, you do not want to stop the large classes to ask a petty question.
