she is actually an angel! she will always be there for extra help and if you are doing poorly you can always talk to her and find ways to increase your grade. she actually teaches so so well and prepares you so well for class and I actually felt like a learned stuff in her class. you can correct your test after it's marked and she will mark it and give you the average of the grades so you can increase it!

She also does art but I had her for gym. change into your clothes on time, don't use your phone without being asked to, participate in the games which are really fun and you'll do perfect. MEMORIZE THE GYM EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU CAN, YOU'LL BE TESTED ON THEM.

Memorize and write everything down! He will say something totally nonchalantly once, and it will end up beingincorporated into a short answer question. My fatal mistake was not studying, so study the content to earn a good mark. Often he ends tests with short answer questions that rely on analyzing past content. He will be incredibly monotonous and show documentaries from 2000. In addition, make sure you don't get on his bad side as he can be quite impatient if provoked. However he is lenient with deadlines and homework, but again, if it becomes a habit, he will hold a grudge.

- Make sure to copy down all notes from the slideshows presented during class or get them from a friend! They're very helpful when completing assignments or reviewing for tests/the final exam! - The amount of homework given in this class is noticeably less than other classes. However, the way in which the material is taught is great and will ensure you'll be prepared for another year of French should you decide to continue. Just pay attention during class and don't be afraid to ask questions whenever you need help!

His geography classes are mainly self-directed learning. Try your best and you’ll be ok. Take notes on the textbook materials because some of the concepts will not be covered in class, but will still appear on the tests. With the written assignments, it’s better to over-analyze than to under-analyze your arguments. He might miss out on a few sentences while reading your paragraphs and deduct points for “not answering the question”, so it’s ok to be a bit repetitive in your writing. As for the unit tests, they are usually a jigsaw of long and short responses with argumentative prompts. The best way to prepare for them is to preplan some arguments supported by the facts and concepts covered during class. Invest in some good pencil crayons because you cannot colour the maps with markers or pens (very unprofessional) and you will get points deducted for it.

This class is EXTREMELY easy. You can pass by barley doing anything. There are little to no tests and if there are any, they are almost always multiple choice. do the work on time and make sure to spend time on your answers and work. don't half do it. easiest geo class.

If your class code starts with PAL, your class is mostly about basketball and ball sports. During the warm up, PLEASE do not sit out, Mr. James does not like it when you don't participate so PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN CLASS. Tests are simple and straight forward, as long as you study for them so please do that. All of the test content is covered in class. He is a very fair teacher as class participation counts for a HUGE part of your overall grade in his course.

The gym part is super easy. Changing into your gym clothes is practically half your mark, so please do that. You can buy both the shirt and shorts if you’d like, but only the shirt is required. It’s $15. 00 (at least to what I remember) and bring exact change because I lost out on $5. 00 since I brought a 20. Participate in gym and actually try. It might be uncomfortable, awkward, and maybe you’re not comfortable doing a lot of the sports. Just try your best though! The fitness tests are the hardest parts. I’d recommend not during your best until the third and final one, because your fitness will be evaluated on improvement. For the health section, there’s a lot of notes and memorization, but the concepts should have been taught in previous years (depends on your school, I guess). The tests aren’t that easy so you shouldn’t just try to wing it. Gym is easy if you just try and show up to class prepared, so don’t worry too much. Ms. Leung marks pretty hard though. Most students with other teachers got over 90 but literally no one did in her class.

(This is for Grade 10 English) Exam stuff Practice writing essays within a specific timeframe. - Some things we had to write essays about were things such as "Should future English students read Three Day Road? ", and the timeframe that we were given was across 3-4 classes (we were able to prepare an outline beforehand). Skim over the main novels/plays/whatever studied in class when studying for finals. - On my final exam, I had to choose one of two questions to write two paragraphs about: the first paragraph being about a short story that was handed out during the exam, and the second paragraph being about a piece of literature that was studied during the school year. - Read the prompts correctly! A bunch of people (including me) got marks deducted for not reading the writing question correctly. Look for key words, such as 5W+H

I would suggest the high school students who are taking physics in Mr. morin's class to always reach out for help whenever they struggled with the course. He is such an amazing and wonderful teacher, in fact the BEST teacher that I had who inspired me to love physics and choose it as my university program. He is always there for his students and also the physics. ca website and the youtube channel are also very helpful and they explain the materials in a very simple way that everyone can understand. You also have to work hard and practice different tons of practice questions in physics or any other class so you can get better at it.

Ms Morra’s math class tend to progress slowly, so use class time to finish your homework packages if you already understand the concepts. If you have any confusions regarding a unit, the class environment is usually very friendly and open to interactions and questions. The tests are mostly based on the content covered in class, with a few exceptions in the thinking sections. But, the homework packages often contain similar thinking questions as practice, so remember to fully review the worksheets before your test.

Mr. Wittmann is a very relaxed teacher but he does not like it if you fool around in class. Geography homework is very simple even though it requires lots of writing and assignments are very easy so you can often get your grade in the 80s or 90s. Tests are straight forward based on the class content. Just behave, take notes, study hard and then you will do fine in his class.

DONT TAKE ENRICHED MATH UNLESS YOU KNOW MOST OR ALL OF THE CONCEPTS THAT WILL BE TAUGHT IN THAT COURSE. IF YOURE A GENIUS THAT IS AN EXCEPTION TOO. I’m talking from experience, and trust me when I say that enriched math is much faster than academic. You won’t learn as much but you will learn the concepts well and thoroughly compared to enriched. In enriched it’ll likely just be skimming over the main concepts (except linear equations I think, speaking for grade 9 math) and moving on to more difficult things. If you want the challenge though, take it. In math, all you really have to do is study. When I say study, however, that doesn’t mean look through your notes and memorize the formulas and whatnot. Oh no. You need to go above and beyond. You need to hardwire those concepts into your brain and figure out how they can be used in other circumstances. A strong basis in algebra will get you very far in this course. I didn’t have one that strong and I suffered as a result. Nonetheless, if you find yourself struggling, don’t give up! You might feel unmotivated but that’s only gonna lead you down a rocky road. Instead, ask for help! Use math resources to your advantage (Khan Academy). Look up new concepts and how they’re used. If you do these things you’re sure to pass math, enriched or academic. For enriched math (or maybe just Ms. Wun) we don’t use the textbooks. Like ever. If there is homework it’s usually optional and just as a means for more practice. So if you need that do the textbook homework! One other thing. I don’t know about other teachers but I know Ms. Wun does her lessons by writing on the board (using a smart pen or something so it uploads to her computer). She then saves these lessons and posts them in a folder on google classroom. From there, you can see the exact lesson for any day and also the worksheets. In other words, if you weren’t there that day, there’s no reason for you to not do your work. It’s a blessing and a curse I suppose- mostly a blessing, though (I lost my notes halfway through a unit).
