- Always ask for clarification and advice - The work is mostly independent - Don't be overly reliant on technology, as the teacher prefers it to be submitted in hard copy form - Study for all the quizzes! Even if they sound dumb.

Pay attention to his classes and make sure to write notes (preferably on a laptop). With gr10 history, he will do binder checks, so make sure to properly organize your notes, for both future-exam wise and extra credit. ALSO his bonus questions are questionable, and a lot of it is hidden throughout the course (in assignments or lectures).

1. Don't worry about your grades. He knows better than to mark you by those. Worry about learning and you'll get the mark you deserve. Worrying about marks like you have been conditioned to do will only make you lose them. 2. Do your homework and be responsible. Make sure to check the website every day. Stop printing your worksheets in the library at 8:15 AM or in tech class. Seriously. 3. Make sure you do a lot of practice problems so you can complete the evaluations comfortably. Some of them might caught people off guard in terms of time, but this can be fixed with more practice. 4. Make sure to ask questions. It's way more efficient to ask then to comb through the internet searching. This applies for any class. 5. His teaching style is different. Don't expect to learn everything in class and only have homework outside of class. It's somewhat of the opposite. Many people disagree with this idea and say "he doesn't teach anything! " because of this, but in general the application of knowledge is harder than learning that knowledge and a lot of his class time is actual hands-on physics demonstrations. You'll learn to appreciate these over your years of school if you don't already. 6. You get what you deserve in his class. Don't try to BS anything. 7, Stop procrastinating already. You'll do better in every course AND have more time for relaxing if you plan properly. 8. Actually listen to everything he says. Sometimes he gives important life lessons that are very true. You can't get those anywhere. I wish I recorded all of those quotes somewhere.

She is a fairly nice teacher, although oftentimes there is poor communication towards several students in general as she does not/may not understand students' questions clearly. Students have to really try to figure out exactly what is need as the teacher "lazy posts" as in copy/paste instructions and information from a website/resource. I'm not very satisfied even for my first week. It's also expected as students for teachers to guide students through learning resources as the teacher has very limited knowledge and experience using Brightspace, Microsoft Teams, and the internet browser.

she's a little hard in terms of coursework/content but trust me when i say it's worth it. also she's really good at explaning/breaking things down so even if it feels scary to ask her during the lesson, if you really don't get something i'd recommend asking her. also definitely do the homework she assigns, DON'T slack off. i think the biggest thing is to keep up with your work and start the semester off strong, because once you fall behind in understanding the material in this course then you're truly cooked

In art classes, you usually wouldn't do much memorization. I would say that the most important thing is to follow along what the teacher does (she gives tutorials on how to use a specific technique for each project) and to always practice, practising your art skills is always a good thing because you will get better. Creativity is key in this class. There are no exams in these classes, there is only a summative assignment. Good luck and have fun!

Try to memorize everything she teaches and please please please take notes in your science journal. If you're in grade 9 it can help get your grade up. Try to not fall behind because it is very easy and try your best to answer the questions in the google form even though some of them are very worded very weirdly. Make sure to watch the videos in the google forms too i found those helpful

To do well in this class, you will have to take initiative in asking questions and feed backs regarding you writing and/or format since you will be writing a lot. Through out the course, ask the teacher to proofread your work when applicable. This will make this course easier.

do NOT get behind at all or else its EXTREMELY hard to catch up in her class, i have unfortunately made that mistake. she is extremely fast paced and starts something new every day which means you'll have to review material very often. instructions for topics/units are never posted and review is RARELY given (or any sort of thing like that) for tests so ur always on ur own for them unless you go to her room and ask her which is very important because otherwise you will fall behind if you don't understand the smallest things.

just listen to the lessons and pay attention in class, don't take it as a "free course" because otherwise you will get cooked if you need clarification don't be scared to ask, she's pretty chill and she'll answer your questions (though the explanation may still be confusing at times)

Study hard. Go to class. Do homework, and a lot of practice questions. There are exceptions in chemistry and you need to make sure you study those. Be a good student and you will get good grades.
