To succeed in Ms. Back's advanced functions class, make sure to pay attention, as if you fall behind you will only fall further
Class of 2022
Ms. Back’s advanced functions class is decent as long as you can pay attention and understand the concepts. Not much studying is required other than doing the textbook content. Other than that, everything is fair game.
Class of 2021
Ms. Back is a phenomenal teacher and has taught me a lot, not just math. Her teaching style is very effective as even the "hardest" topics are explained in such a manner that everything she teaches us makes complete sense. She encourages students to ask lots of questions and has a positive outlook on students who aren't doing above average in her classes. As a tip for future students, make SURE to complete your homework as many of the concepts learned in class are the exact same on the tests as well. Furthermore, make use of the extra time that she provides you with by asking questions during class and other available times! If you have Ms. Back, consider your self lucky and get ready for a whole new method of learning.

Class of 2022
Ms. Back is probably one of Port Credit’s best math teachers. Her teaching style is probably the most effective and she’s extremely (I cannot stress this enough) EXTREMELY organized. Students should be very very grateful to have her because it makes it so much easier to learn with an organized Mathematics teacher.
