Practice and pay attention. Technique isn't the biggest thing to worry about but the intonation is stuff that always needs work so focus on that. The theory stuff should be relatively easy as you can submit and resubmit it as many times as you want until you get perfect. Oh and PRACTICE. -disgrunted concert master

Be organized and responsible. This class teaches you life skills and doesn't spoon feed you. It teaches you how to be an adult, and how it is to be treated like one. Stay on top of your work, and practice, practice, practice! It can be very easy to fall behind if you're unproductive and not following the given (but reasonable) due dates. Last thing, teamwork is important, socialize and get to know your peers because they make it more fun.
