he doesn't tell you the expectations sometimes (ie. he expects captions on videos even if the rubric doesn't state it and he never brought it up) so just do what you think is right and adjust accordingly. make sure there's graphics on EVERY slide. there's also was an exam for a tech course.

Practice and pay attention. Technique isn't the biggest thing to worry about but the intonation is stuff that always needs work so focus on that. The theory stuff should be relatively easy as you can submit and resubmit it as many times as you want until you get perfect. Oh and PRACTICE. -disgrunted concert master

Some advice: have thick skin. this teacher will belittle his students and make you feel dumb for asking questions, but if you want to do well, then keep your head up high even if your feelings are hurt. You need to study ALOT- constantly constantly studying and memorizing formulas. try to volunteer for things because then you could possibly become his favourite and he won't pick on you as often.

If you have him, good luck. He belittles students and makes them feel stupid for asking questions, has clear favouritism to certain students, and will berate you and even use backhanded tactics like guilt-tripping to get you to do certain things (personal experience). If he doesn't like you, he will grade you like you punched him. My only recommendation is that you study and perform as well as you can, avoid interacting with him if possible, don't fight back if he belittles you and don't ask him questions. If you're struggling, ask Google or your friend. Pplease don't get anything late.

The best way to do well in this course is to think. You'll hear lots about this in the class, but I'll say it again. On a test, there were NO questions that came from the textbook. Instead, Mr. Q made questions that are so thought-evoking, and requires a really good understanding of the material he teaches and the knowledge to apply it. Some advice I have is to just question everything (educated questions). Such as, ask yourself why he's teaching you something. Ask yourself, why's he telling us about this specific thing, and you'll do well.
