Don't be shy, ask questions! She loves to answer questions and share her wisdom about the industry. She was a very influential person on my post-secondary path. Also, don't be afraid to ask for extensions, she will almost always give them to you if she knows you genuinely need them.
Ask her how her day is. She loves getting to know her students and is really awesome and kind. I had her as my Gr 11 Gifted math teacher and she was incredibly kind, but also very strict. Try not to hand in assignments late, she really hates that.
