Make sure that you are prepared to memorize every single thing! No information is unimportant. There's too much note taking in this class, you pretty much just take notes and watch videos. The labs were fun though! The tests almost made me cry :/ I passed the class though, so I guess it's all good?

I took bio with Mr. Tan and we had tests almost every week. Also, he gives notes in class but they are never enough. YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THE BOOK TO GET A GOOD MARK ON THE TEST. Mr. Tan's classes require a lot of rote learning. So be prepared to memorize every single piece of information from the chapter, anything can be on the test. He teaches stuff kinda briefly in class so you might have to teach the material in detail to yourself.

Mr. Tan is helpful with questions and queries. I wish his classes were more hands-on and had discussions rather than just writing and memorizing stuff.

Mr. Tan is an average teacher. He is super approachable, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask him! He was my teacher during the COVID-19 pandemic ( we were in class though), so your experience might be different than mine :)
