Memorization is really important. It's easy to get a really high grade in his class when you do all the work and study an average amount (online flashcards are an amazing resource in bio).

MEMORIZE MEMORIZE MEMORIZE. Good thing it's all interesting stuff you're memorizing! For the final, there is unexpectedly a lot of questions on the last few units, and only a few on the other main ones, so make sure you're studying prioritizing that.

Taking Ms. Monteleone's theatre class is one of the best decisions you make at NDUB. She is an extremely passionate and motivated teacher who works well with like-minded students. If you try hard, show-up, and have a positive attitude during class you will likely get at least a high B/low A for your mark. She puts in a lot of effort into her teaching and expects the same in return from her students. If you are in her class for an easy A or are just taking it to get your fine arts credit, I strongly recommend you switch out. If you have a passion of theatre and are interested in musical theatre, I promise you that you will not get a better teacher than Ms. Monteleone.

Regarding Pre-IB French classes, this man is the goat honestly. He's so enthusiastic about teaching and makes the class engaged with the music and in-class activities that I don't feel as stressed as I usually do in french classes haha. If you struggle with french already like me, you're gonna have to study a little more anyway but Mr. O'Rourke makes French so much more bearable than any other French teacher I had. I can't speak about regular classes since I was never in them, but I heard he might be a bit tougher, but other than that, he's great.

Make sure that you are prepared to memorize every single thing! No information is unimportant. There's too much note taking in this class, you pretty much just take notes and watch videos. The labs were fun though! The tests almost made me cry :/ I passed the class though, so I guess it's all good?

I had her for chemistry. The lab reports were a bit difficult, but she lets you do corrections and submit them again. Also, the tests are very logical, so you need to understand the content and memorize some stuff as well. On the bright side, the tests are not difficult. Also, the labs are super fun! The practice assignments that Ms. Waldner gives are extremely helpful, so try to do as many as you can.
