Mr. Brentnell teaches almost solely through class discussion, which can make it a little difficult if you miss class. Due to that high volume of class discussion we often end up going off on unrelated topics. It's a very fun class however Mr. Brentnell is a difficult teacher to read, you never know how he'll react to things. The deadlines are flexible as long as you do get the assignment near the deadline. He has a website that always has extra material for you to review or watch and a lot of assignments are on there ahead of time. Because he lets us have a lot of independent work time this class will teach you a ton, but only if you're willing to put in the work. It also gets stressful if you feel you're behind in something so remember it doesn't hurt to work ahead. He's a good teacher, but (like most social teachers) is very opinionated on all subjects.
