Participate in class and take note of class discussions! Often Sperling will give away hints of what to write on essays/projects. You can find all your points just from listening to the class discussions. Learned so much in this class. it might be a bit harsh at times but it is well worth it!

SPEAK UP! Say your opinions and interpretations and observations, it always goes better when you participate in class. It can be a ton of fun if you do it right.

He does mark pretty harshly, but if you listen to his advice, you can really improve as a writer and reader.
