- This basically applies to all classes, but usually before a test, just look at the key points and practice it a little, and you’ll do pretty well on the exam. - The practice exam is very important to do, it’s literally an overview for the exam. Sometimes the questions are literally the same or they’re really similar so you know what to look out for in the exam and be prepared. - There are homework checks. No, he doesn’t check your homework, but he does this little question quiz with 4-5 questions on the board and you have to answer them. They count for marks so make sure you practice and do your homework, because if you do, homework checks are really easy. - Class is pretty chill and Mr. Bentz is understanding, so when you’re tired in class just sleep and most of the time he won’t call you out. - There are Mental Math Thursdays. It’s basically on Thursdays you just do a mental math sheet, and once you’re done, you just play some math games.

Even though it’s like December, Mr. Bentz is one of the best teachers I’ve had so far. He makes a bunch of dad jokes and doesn’t assign a lot of homework, and even if you don’t do the homework it’s okay! Because it’s not for grades. Just make sure you study because that’ll catch up to you in the long run. He gives out candy to you on your birthday or sometimes on random occasions. We also get stuff on events like Christmas or Halloween and we always have movies to watch during those times. Once, Mr. Bentz asked some of our classmates to do an Advent celebration, and people signed up because they thought it was pre-recorded. When we found out it was live, he apologized to us and gave us movie nights and some other things (I can’t remember since he gives so much. ) Most of the time, we can choose our seating plans, but our class wasn’t working in one of those seating plans so he had to assign seats (our class wasn’t listening to him. ) So please don’t disrespect him because he doesn’t deserve that. He also gives pretty entertaining stories to listen to and he’s pretty understanding. Sorry if this was long, I’ve had some okayish teachers so it was pretty nice to see a good one for a change.
