- This basically applies to all classes, but usually before a test, just look at the key points and practice it a little, and you’ll do pretty well on the exam. - The practice exam is very important to do, it’s literally an overview for the exam. Sometimes the questions are literally the same or they’re really similar so you know what to look out for in the exam and be prepared. - There are homework checks. No, he doesn’t check your homework, but he does this little question quiz with 4-5 questions on the board and you have to answer them. They count for marks so make sure you practice and do your homework, because if you do, homework checks are really easy. - Class is pretty chill and Mr. Bentz is understanding, so when you’re tired in class just sleep and most of the time he won’t call you out. - There are Mental Math Thursdays. It’s basically on Thursdays you just do a mental math sheet, and once you’re done, you just play some math games.
His classes are very memorization-heavy. Study literally EVERYTHING, the notes, flash cards, etc. You still need to understand the concepts, as he often puts short answers at the end of tests.
