Be sure to continuously review the fill-in-the-blanks and the powerpoints. Know your terminology. Occasionally obscure things in the notes come up as important parts of a test in the Bio IB faculty. Sometimes things that are not even in the fill-in-the-blanks will be on the test. The Bio faculty at Western Canada coordinates everything, there is no escape from a bad question on the test.

This teacher is a very slow marker. Negative or positive feedback may take up to 3 months to complete marking. IB students: If you are in Bio HL, prepare to get your papers back the next year... or even later. Generally, learning can be done independently. Any difficulty in class can be figured out at home. Learning resources and schedules are already provided beforehand and the fill-in-the-blanks can be completed on one's own time. Understand that you MUST get queries in prior to a set time or else you will receive no response. This teacher likes their work life balance so be sure to respect that timetable.
